Service Transition Planning and Support Manager

We’re hiring for an experienced Service Transition Planning and Support Manager to joing our client, a global leader within their field.

What Will You Be Doing?

You will oversee Project Transition activities including sign off Service Readiness criteria and authorisation for approvals
Identify gaps in the end to end Service Management solution
You’ll be responsible for putting together a project service transition team to deliver in scope services by using all available disciplines (ie Training, HR, Operations, Testing)
You will oversee all compliance and assurance activities for Transition into Service
Ensure complete Service Design Packages (SDPs) are handed off as part of Service Transition
You will ensure adequate resources are available, as needed
Verify any OLAs and OWAs are in place as required
You are responsible for ensuring smooth transition of the services into the Service Desk managed by the selected supplier
Management of budget and pricing
You will coordinate ITSM tooling requirements to support in scope service transitions.

Stakeholder Management

You will act as the primary interface to senior customer and Supplier stakeholders for all Service Transition activities
You will coordinate with and inform all the Service Delivery organisation about new projects and services
You will participate in operational governance meetings

Essential Skills and Experience

ITIL Process development and implementation
You will have demonstrated experience in delivering complex ICT Service Management programs including Transition Programme Management
You will have extensive experience within Service Delivery organisation (typically at least 15 years), with at least 5 years at Principal level
Ability to create a collaborative environment and deliver a consensus agreement with other Suppliers and the customer stakeholders
You will be highly analytic and detail oriented, with an ability to demonstrate command of the details while articulating them to a higher level
Ability to drive remedial action and service improvement across all levels of the organisation
You will have the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers and senior program management
Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
You will have hands on operational experience in a complex multi tower service model

Salary: £60k – £63k
