The Service Delivery Director holds a high level of responsibility and is there to ensure service levels are effective and business objectives are met.
Outstanding management skills are essential for this post as you will be leading a team of ITIL process owners in a complex, multi-supplier model. The role holds ultimate responsibility across the ITIL service lifecycle to ensure processes are integrated, managed and delivered effectively.
Manage multiple suppliers in the provision of IT Services to the programme
Ensure effective IT Services are provided to end users
Lead the transition of Services, exit of existing suppliers and introduction of new suppliers
Management of a team of ITIL process owners
Chair governance meetings
Build strong internal and external relationships
Build a mature Service model
Monitor supplier compliance to agreed policies
Leadership role in a transitional multi-suplier IT environment
Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects autonomously
Outstanding problem solving and resilience
Business process planning, development and integration in a Service Management environment
Public sector background
Excellent communication skills – with team and stakeholders
IT Service Management policy creation and roll out
Salary: Circa £100k basic
