Our client, a large Central London financial services organisation, are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join their Digital CIO Team.
The successful candidate will play a key role as an Agile feature/platform team, to ensure the expected business outcomes are delivered.
You will support the production of viable requirements and acceptance criteria in preparation for the build, test and implementation of production ready code.
Acting as a lead BA overseeing business analysis activities on large change initiatives including being accountable for other BAs working on the assignment including mentoring and coaching.
Ensure key business goals are understood and requirements/user stories/acceptance criteria are documented in conjunction with Product Owners and the appropriate subject matter experts (SMEs) that enables solutions to be defined by the scrum team
Work with design/development/test colleagues to ensure that quality business solutions that address the requirements of the business are delivered.
Participate, lead and contribute to relevant business/scrum/project meetings.
Act as a recognised subject matter expert and key contact for Digital within the context of the role
Understand the strategic drivers and supporting benefits case for the domain/platform being worked on and challenge when these are not being met.
Be involved in shaping/pre-inception work, assessing the initial impact of new initiatives across the Digital CIO estate
Consider the needs of the customer and be prepared to challenge decisions that are not in their best interests as defined by our customer ambition and the principles of the TCF
Champion and make wider contributions to the Digital CIO team through learnings and knowledge from other IT&C change practices and external sources
Support initiatives through an iterative design/development/testing lifecycle including implementation (including business readiness such as training/operational impacts)
Coach, mentor, buddy and develop others
Detailed knowledge of creating Epics/User Stories/Acceptance Criteria using Agile tools and techniques
Understanding and practical application of Impact and Story Mapping
Business Analysis tools and techniques
Knowledge of Feature File creation for BDD
Knowledge and experience of working with full scale scrum or Kanban
Competent user of Jira and Confluence
Change Management processes
Contract: 6 months
